New additions to the top 10 include One Day, the TV series based on the popular novel, and My Wife and Kids, a sitcom from the early 2000s with Damon Wayans. 10. Young Sheldon season 1 (2017)
Sheldon Lee Cooper became one of The Big Bang Theory’s most iconic characters. Fans can witness the birth of a genius in Young Sheldon, the spinoff prequel to The Big Bang Theory. In the fictional town of Medford, Texas, in 1989, Sheldon Cooper (Iain Armitage) is a child prodigy with expertise in science and mathematics. Sheldon has an extraordinary mind, leading him to attend high school at age nine and college at 11.
However, being brilliant has drawbacks, especially when trying to fit in with people who love football and the church. Even his family struggles to live with Sheldon’s wisdom, but they try their best to support their son in the best way they can. Knowing where Sheldon ends up in The Big Bang Theory, fans will love exploring his childhood and seeing how these years shaped him into the man he would become.
9. Love on the Spectrum season 2 (2022)
Love on the Spectrum, Netflix’s feel-good romance show, returns for season 2 with a new cast of young adults – Abbey, James, Journey, Steve, Tanner, Dani, and Connor – looking for romance. These seven hopeful singles are members of the neurodivergent community, meaning they are on the autism spectrum. Everyone is entitled to love, and these participants are ready to experience its highs and lows.

8. Fool Me Once (2024)
Author Harlan Coben is taking over Netflix with adaptations of his mystery novels and thrillers, including British TV shows The Stranger and Stay Close. Coben’s latest offering is Fool Me Once, a murder mystery involving a dead husband named Joe Burkett (Richard Armitage), who was shot to death. Two weeks later, Maya Stern (Michelle Keegan), Joe’s wife, sees him playing with their daughter on the nanny cam.
Was Joe murdered, or is there a big conspiracy at play? Meanwhile, Abby (Danya Griver) and Daniel (Daniel Burt), Maya’s niece and nephew, investigate the murder of their mother, Clair (Natalie Anderson), which could be connected to Joe’s shocking supposed death.
7. My Wife and Kids season 1 (2001)
In the early 2000s, Damon Wayans plays a patriarch who dreams of an ordinary family in the sitcom My Wife and Kids. Michael Kyle Sr. (Wayans) lives in Stamford, Connecticut, with his wife Jay (Tisha Campbell-Martin) and three kids: son Junior (George O. Gore II) and daughters Claire (Jazz Raycole) and Kady (Parker McKenna Posey).
Even though Michael strives for normalcy, his family remains unorthodox. Jay is a stay-at-home stock market wizard, while Junior adores gangsta rap. 6. Alexander: The Making of a God season 1 (2024)
Explore how Alexander III of Macedon became known as Alexander the Great in Alexander: The Making of A God, a new six-part docuseries on Netflix. Born in 356 BC, Alexander (Buck Braithwaite) is an exiled young prince who becomes king after his father’s assassination. Alexander wants to unite Macedonia and defeat the Persian Empire and their king, Darius (Mido Hamada).
The young Macedonian king begins a dominant campaign, winning every battle despite being outnumbered. In just six years, Alexander claimed the largest Western empire in history. Alexander: The Making of A God delves into what made Alexander one of the most powerful rulers to ever walk the Earth.
5. One Day (2024)
The complicated love story of Emma “Em” Morley (Ambika Mod) and Dexter “Dex” Mayhew (Leo Woodall) comes to life in One Day. On June 15, 1988, Em and Dex hook up on their graduation night after speaking to each other for the first time earlier that day. Although they go their separate ways, their connection is magical, leading the duo to think about what life would be like with each other.
Over the next 20 years, One Day checks in with Em and Dex on July 15 every year. Though they date other people and live different lives, Em and Dex are destined to be with each other, even if they don’t know when or how it will happen. One Day is based on David Nicholls’ best-selling novel of the same name. The series is also based on the feature film adaption of One Day with Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess.
4. Young Sheldon season 6 (2017)
Before becoming the nerdy genius of The Big Bang Theory, Sheldon Cooper (Iain Armitage) has to navigate teenage life in Young Sheldon. Season 6 picks up with a 13-year-old Sheldon struggling to fit in at college, while Sheldon’s parents, George and Mary, are stuck in an unhappy marriage.
George finds solace with recent divorcée Brenda (Melissa Peterman), while Mary dreams about Pastor Rob (Dan Byrd). Meanwhile, Meemaw’s gambling empire expands as she searches for new real estate. Plus, Georgie and Mandy face life as parents with a baby on the way.
3. American Nightmare season 1 (2024)
The newest true crime obsession on Netflix is American Nightmare. In 2015, Denise Huskins and Aaron Quinn were awakened by an intruder in the middle of the night. The pair told authorities they were drugged and tied up. Denise was then abducted and raped by the intruder, who then held her for ransom. Denise was found days later in her hometown. At first, the police tried to charge Aaron with murder, but after Denise showed up, they called the crime an elaborate hoax. The media dubbed it “The Gone Girl Kidnapping” after Gillian Flynn’s novel.
The duo never wavered in their story, and when a suspect finally emerges, Denise and Aaron seek the justice they deserve. This eye-opening three-part docuseries features interviews with Denise, Aaron, and the authorities who fought to find the person responsible for the abduction.
2. The Tourist season 1 (2022)
Jamie Dornan is a stranger in a foreign place in The Tourist. Elliot (Dornan) is an Irish man who wakes up in an Australian hospital with amnesia. Elliot’s amnesia is so bad that he doesn’t even remember his name. He eventually comes to learn that he was forced off the road and left for dead.
Without any major leads, Elliot must follow the few clues he has to figure out his identity and discover who’s after him. Along the way, Elliot receives assistance from a local cop, Helen (Danielle Macdonald). Season 1 aired on BBC One and BBC iPlayer in the U.K. and on Max in the U.S. However, Max dropped season 2. Season 2 will stream on Netflix on February 29.

Move over, Pablo Escobar. There’s a new lord of the cartel, and her name is Griselda Blanco. The Netflix series Griselda depicts the life of Griselda, played by an unrecognizable Sofía Vergara. Griselda entered the drug game in Miami as a way to support her family. Griselda rises from obscurity to the top of the drug trade in the 1980s, earning the nickname “Godmother of Cocaine.”
Griselda reached new heights, but her fame and popularity also put a target on her back. The drug lord experiences betrayal of the highest degree as she navigates challenges from the authorities and her rivals. Griselda is the story of the rise and fall of an unlikely antihero.
