Dan Stall
is a benefit auctioneer who has defined a niche market in Michigan
and has transported this concept nationally as well. A certified
auctioneer in 19 states, he orchestrates and conducts highly
successful benefit auctions for nonprofit organizations.
Dan Stall’s career as an auctioneer began when he walked
in on an auction one sweltering summer day. He realized this
was something he could do well and spent his vacation attending
auctioneering school.
Returning to Detroit, Dan first worked as an auctioneer of fine
goods. Recognizing that he would like to specialize in benefit
auctions, he developed DAN STALL INC.,
THE AUCTION TEAM.
Dan credits much of his ongoing success to his vast experience.
“Over a period of 20 years, you learn what works and what
doesn’t,” he says. He puts that knowledge to work,
encouraging the organization’s key personnel and committees
to identify and secure exciting auction items.
At the charity events, Dan Stall auctions in the round, where
he can see all the guests and involve them in the action. From
the outset, he captures their attention and encourages them
to support the organization. His strategically placed spotters
assist him in keeping the pace of bidding lively and his sound,
lighting and staging technicians and assistants ensure that
all details are managed seamlessly. |
