What’s new on Netflix and what’s leaving in February 2024

Netflix is really asserting its dominance over the other streamers in February, thanks to content-sharing agreements with rival studios that are bringing in hit shows like Monk and a new season of Young Sheldon, as well as the first four seasons of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Blacklist season 10, and the vastly underrated Max original action series Warrior, which will hopefully get a second chance to break out now that it’s coming to Netflix.

A healthy selection of new films is also making February a good month for subscribers, as Everything Everywhere All At Once comes to Netflix alongside Ready Player One, The Great Gatsby, Moneyball, Pacific Rim, The Other Boleyn Girl, and more. But the really exciting additions in February are the animated film Orion and the Dark and the live-action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Keep reading for our complete roundup of everything new on Netflix in February 2024 and everything that’s leaving at the end of the month. Our picks for the month are in bold.

Jim Carrey in Bruce Almighty.

There are few genres that Netflix handles better than comedy. It helps that the other studios have been willing to lend out many of their classic comedy movies, like Fletch and Twins, which are recent arrivals on Netflix. February is a little light on more recent comedies, but Netflix is also streaming The Interview and Bruce Almighty, neither of which are old enough to be considered classics yet.

Currently, Netflix has a very '80s-heavy lineup of comedies, including Beverly Hills Cop and The Blues Brothers. But 2023's breakout comedy, No Hard Feelings, does offer a more contemporary option. And that's just the beginning of the best comedies on Netflix right now. You can find the rest of the comedy movies below.
